PROPOSED ACTION PLAN 2023-2028

Pursuant to Art. 4(8) of the same Italian Legislative Decree, the Action Plans recognise and update the Noise Containment and Abatement Plans drawn up pursuant to Decree of the Ministry for the Environment (DMA) of 29.11.2000.
As is known, the Torino-Milano motorway was modernised across the entire roadway, with the primary objective of improving the safety of traffic.

Consequently, the obligations pursuant to the DMA of 29 November 2000 were implemented through the ordinary procedures for the approval of projects to adapt existing roads.

The planning of noise mitigation measures was carried out in an integrated manner with the plan to modernise and upgrade the motorway section, which required compliance with legal limits established at the same time as the modernisation work was completed.

The project therefore included a series of noise mitigation works, adjusted according to national indicators and limits.

Execution of the interventions is now complete.
The Communication Report can be consulted on the site, which summarises the key steps of the project pathway that led to the definition of the noise abatement and containment measures, the data provided by the Operator to the competent Administrations and the approval aspects.

The attached plans provide the location along the motorway route of the interventions envisaged in the 2023-2028 Action Plan.

ursuant to Article 3(6) of the aforementioned decree, having drawn up and forwarded to the competent bodies the updated Noise Mapping 2021 for the A4 Torino-Milano motorway section in June 2022, in order to facilitate its disclosure to the public, as required by Article 9 of Directive 2002/49/EC, SATAP S.p.A. publishes the same document on its website.

In order to comply with the requirements of Article 8, paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of Italian Legislative Decree 194/2005, regarding information and public consultation on Action Plans, SATAP publishes the Plans for the A4 Torino-Milano section (Code RD_IT_0012_001) and the A21 Torino-Alessandria-Piacenza section (Code RD_IT_0012_002) on the institutional website, and also informs the public by means of notices in daily newspapers.
From 23/05/2024 for 45 consecutive days, anyone may submit written comments and statements by: registered letter with return receipt to the address “SATAP. S.p.A. Via Bonzanigo no. 22 – 10144 Turin”, indicating on the envelope the following wording: “2023-2028 Action Plan. Observations pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 194/2005”.
The deadline for receiving proposals and comments from citizens is 06/07/2024 (inclusive).
